LYNN (WBZ-AM) -- It was a chilly morning, but that didn't keep hundreds of football fans from attending the century-old rivalry game between Lynn English and Lynn Classical at the Manning Bowl Thanksgiving morning.
"They've both come a long way this season, they went almost undefeated, so it's a bigger rivalry than ever this year, so it's really exciting," said one fan.
But it was more exciting for fans of Lynn English--in the 103rd meeting of the two teams, English blew Classical away 38-0.
"It's a very special day, especially for the kids," the father of one of the players told WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Carl Stevens. "They know each other so well, it's one of the funnest days of the year, they look forward to it all year."
