BURLINGTON (WBZ-AM) -- One family won't be able to have Thanksgiving dinner in their home this year--because three vehicles smashed into it Wednesday night.

Burlington Police said it happened around 8 p.m. after an out-of-control pickup truck hit a couple of parked cars, sending all three vehicles into the house on Bedford Street.

"All we heard was a thump, as if somebody threw something at our property," one neighbor told WBZ-TV. "We just walked out of the house, and the lady of the house ran over and asked us to call 911."

One person was taken to Lahey Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

None of the people inside the home were injured, but they are not allowed back inside the home due to the damage.
