ANDOVER, N.H. (AP) - A New Hampshire boarding school is mourning the loss of a faculty member who was killed in a traffic accident in Florida.
Proctor Academy officials in Andover, New Hampshire, say employees Lindsey Degon and Casey McCormack were vacationing in Key West when they were involved in a crash last Wednesday.
Media reports said McCormack and Degon were on a scooter that skidded into the path of an oncoming pickup truck. McCormack was driving.
The 32-year-old Degon fell into the road and under the truck. McCormack suffered significant, non-life-threatening injuries.
Degon worked in the school's learning skills department and was a dorm parent in the Burbank West dormitory.
