Tewksbury Police: Package Thief Caught

TEWKSBURY, MA (WBZ-AM) -- Police have made an arrest following  series package thefts of residential doorsteps in Tewksbury.

Police arrested Jacquelin Suazo, 30, of Lawrence, MA on Friday for the package thefts on November 27.

In a surveillance video released on their department's Twitter account, earlier this week, a woman is spotted on video slowly walking up towards the steps, pausing to pick up the package and walking away. 

Police say Tewksbury Detectives received information from a caller on Thursday who said stated that they believed the suspect in the package thefts was staying at a shelter in Lawrence, MA. 

"As a result of this information and further investigation, detectives were able to identify Suazo as the suspect" according to a Tewksbury Police news release. 

They say that Suazo was charged with one count of larceny over $250.00 and three counts of Larceny under $250.00. 

She was expected to be to be arraigned on December 1.
