Human Remains Found In Flaming Car In Worcester Cemetery

WORCESTER (WBZ-AM) -- Worcester Police found human remains inside a burning car left in a cemetery Tuesday morning.

Officers were dispatced to Mount Hope Cemetery around 8:30 a.m. for a report of a fire in the cemetery.

Worcester Fire put the flames out, and officers found the remains inside.

The person who was deceased has not yet been identified.

Officers put a tarp over the car before removing it from the cemetery.

Detectives have ruled the case a suspicious death, and are investigating.
