Body Found in Plymouth ID'ed As Mashpee Missing Man

PLYMOUTH, MA (WBZ-AM) -- Investigators are looking for a potential link between a missing man in Mashpee and a body recovered in Plymouth.

Cape and the Islands DA Michael O’Keefe confirmed they have positively identified the man as Raymond Perry, 64, of Mashpee, MA. His body was found discovered near the Carver line Monday discovered in the area of Federal Furnace Road -- more than 36 miles from his home.

O'Keefe says that said that an autopsy by the Commonwealth's Medical Examiner's Office, revealed that  Perry died of blunt force trauma to the head "with cutting wounds to the neck." The manner of death is homicide and that they’re continuing investigating the circumstances surrounding Perry's disappearance.

Perry was reported missing December 1.

About a week after he went missing, his son Eli was arrested during a traffic stop after police found an unlicensed firearm under the driver’s seat of the truck. The DA has not revealed a link between the two cases. He has pleased not guilty to the charges

During Eli's arrest his female passenger told police that Raymond Perry was an active member of The Hell's Angels and that they broke into his home around the time he disappeared.
