BOSTON (AP) - Offshore wind farm developers are submitting proposals for large-scale operations off Massachusetts.
Deepwater Wind says it will submit two proposals by Wednesday's deadline for companies seeking to supply at least 400 megawatts of offshore wind energy to Massachusetts power companies.
Vineyard Wind says it also will propose two farms, and Bay State Wind is expected to compete for the lucrative contracts as well.
