NAHANT, MA -- (WBZ-AM) A dumpster truck knocks out power to residents in part of Nahant on a bitterly cold day.

Nahant Fire Chief Michael Feinberg says this morning an elevated dumpster truck dragged down a whole row of power and telephone lines leaving nearly 900 residents without power

The town opened up a local school to function as a shelter for people affected.
