ARLINGTON (WBZ-AM) -- A car slammed into a two-family home on Warren Street Wednesday morning, leaving a home's front porch with structural damage.
Arlington Deputy Fire Chief James Bailey told WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Carl Stevens that the car swerved to avoid another vehicle at the corner of Franklin and Warren Streets.
Because of the damage, crews were not able to remove the car from the scene until the porch was braced and shored up.
"Once that is done and that work commences, they'll be able to remove the vehicle and we'll clear the scene," Deputy Chief Bailey said.
Two people were home at the time, but nobody was hurt.
