BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- The Boston Bruins-Florida Panthers game that was postponed due to last week's nor'easter has been rescheduled, the NHL said Thursday.

The game, which was set to be played Thursday, January 4 has been moved to Sunday, April 8 at TD Garden.

As a result, the Boston Celtics game that was scheduled for 7:30 p.m. that day has been moved to 1 p.m. to accommodate.

“On behalf of the Boston Bruins I would like to thank Boston Celtics President Rich Gotham, as well as the Celtics organization, Atlanta Hawks, NBA and TD Garden for their flexibility moving the previously scheduled Celtics game on April 8th to a matinee,” Bruins President Cam Neely said in a release. “We are grateful for the flexibility and cooperation of all of these groups which made it possible for the NHL to reschedule our game against the Panthers to the evening of the April 8th.”
