One Dead In Roxbury Shooting

BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- Boston Police say that one man is dead following a shooting in at 31 Whittier Street in Roxbury on Thursday.

They say that around 1:46 p.m., officers in the area heard gun shots and found a man in his early 20’s from an apparent gunshot wound.

The man was transported to an area hospital where he died.

In addition two people were shot in Dorchester at Columbia Road and Washington St right after the Roxbury shooting.

One of the victims had live threating injuries the other non-life threatening.

Police are not sure if the two incidents are related or have any details on what led to the shootings. No arrests have been made and the case is still under investigation.
