SOMERVILLE, MA (WBZ-AM) – Some tough talk from Somerville Mayor Joe Curtatone on the subject of sanctuary cities.
He takes issue with comments by Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Neilson, who says the Justice Department is looking into possible criminal action against communities that refuse to cooperate with immigration agents.
Curtatone says he'll fight the Trump administration on any challenge to high city's sanctuary city status and says that any DOJ pursuit of criminal charges against sanctuary cities is unconstitutional
