Robbery Suspect Killed In Randolph Crash Identified

RANDOLPH, MA (WBZ-AM) -- Police have identified  the robbery suspect killed in a head-on crash in Randolph while fleeing officers Wednesday.  

Randolph police say Michael Berg, 37, crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with another vehicle on Union Street during a pursuit.  

Berg was identified as a man with a sawed-off shotgun who robbed the Super Mart on North Main Street at around 3p.m in the afternoon.  

The driver of the other vehicle was hospitalized and is expected to survive.
