BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- New England fans are used to Tom Brady's greatness. But it's nice to be reminded sometimes, isn't it?
Like that time he played with (a reported) 12 stitches in his hand and still led the Patriots to a comeback to reach a Super Bowl.
And after the game, Brady's teammate Danny Amendola had nothing but praise for Brady.
"Tommy's the best, man," Amendola said. "He's the toughest guy I've ever met, physically, mentally. If there's anything that happens to Tom, I know he can handle it. It was unfortunate to see him get injured mid-week. I know mentally, it probably stressed him out a bit, and physically, I know it's hard to throw a football with stitches in your thumbs."
Hear more from Amendola, as well as from Rex Burkhead and Dion Lewis, in the clip below.
