BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- There's a reason Rob Gronkowski calls him Danny "Playoff" Amendola.
The Patriots wideout has stepped up in at least a handful of postseason games since arriving in New England and he came up big again in yesterday's AFC Championship-winning comeback over the Jaguars with 5 catches for 56 yards and 2 touchdowns in the fourth quarter alone.
"Danny's a tremendous competitor, made some big plays for us," Head Coach Bill Belichick said. "When you look up 'good football player' in the dictionary, his picture's right there beside it."
