2 Dead, Over A Dozen Injured In Kentucky School Shooting

BENTON, KY (WBZ-AM/24/7 News Source) -- Kentucky officials say two teenagers are dead over a dozen are injured following a shooting at a southwest Kentucky high school Tuesday morning.

Authorities say 14 people total were shot. The victims who died are a girl and boy, both 15. 

According to Governor Matt Bevin, speaking at a news conference, the girl died at the scene and the male victim died at the hospital. 

Kentucky State Police say the shooter is a 15-year-old student who was captured at the school.

State Police Commissioner Rick Sanders says the shooter will be charged with murder and attempted murder. 

Police say there's a large crime scene at Marshall County High School.
