MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WBZ-AM) -- One thing is for sure about Tom Brady.
The love and appreciation he has for his wife, Brazilian philanthropist, entrepreneur and supermodel, Gisele Bündchen, is deeply genuine.
At a media availability on Tuesday, the quarterback superstar for the New England Patriots spoke candidly on how fortunate he his to have wife Bündchen in his life and how it makes it all better.
"Well she's been a great supporter and...she is my life partner you know I love her to death... so I'm very lucky man," he said.
The couple began dating in 2006 after being set up on a blind date by a mutual friend. They married in married in 2009 and have 2 children.
Brady spoke how Bündchen helps him focus on his job -- football.
"She's been so supportive of me in my career. It takes a lot as you know for for mom's at home to take care of the house, make sure everything and at home is safe with the kids and she does the best job with that. It allows me to show up to work you know free of mind and. able to really focus on what I need to do," Brady said.
Brady expressed about how he will be able to spend more time with his family once the season is over.
"I'm sure she's looking forward to me being home more often too and I think for all of our wives," he said, "It's a big commitment for them too because their lives are based around our schedules which is a bit challenging because there's still a lot of life that we're living and our kids are growing, birthday parties and who does the Christmas shopping and a lot falls on her plate so...I am very very lucky," he said.
