MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WBZ-AM) It was full pads for the Patriots in a workout at the Vikings facilities as they get ready to play for their six Lombardi trophy on Sunday.
With all of the hype that leads up to the game, Patriots Wide Receiver Matthew Slater, says hitting the practice field keeps the team focused on the mission at hand.
“It was a good reminder to get out there in full and compete and execute is I think is what we need,” he said.
There's another practice scheduled Thursday with walk-through is Friday and Saturday as New England prepares for the Eagles who safety Patrick Chung says will pose a challenge.
“They are a good team, they wouldn't be here you know if they weren’t good team throughout the whole season. They deserve it man, we deserve it. It’s going to be good team versus good team,” Chung said,“
