BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- Mayor Marty Walsh says the advice for fans is pretty simple -- behave.
"We just want fans to be respectful out there you know regardless what happens in the game win or lose, be respectful be respectful of the city, be respectful of others and be respectful of each other, be careful out there," he said.
This is the third Super Bowl during Walsh 3rd term as Mayor. He says even though the city is pretty well versed at celebrating championships, he wants people to not get out of hand.
"What usually happens is it's not the person causing the trouble that gets hurt but somebody else [for instance] an innocent person driving or walking by," Walsh said.
The mayor warned if people do get out of hand police will be forced to take action.
