Mayor Walsh: Eagle At Boston's City Hall Is Actually A Patriots Fan

BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) --When Boston Mayor Marty Walsh invited members of the press into the Eagle Conference room at City Hall Friday afternoon to outline security measures for Sunday night he had to make a few "adjustments."

The big carved Eagle in the back was hidden behind a black curtain and the sign of the door was covered with a placard welcoming everyone to "The Belichick Room.

"We have the eagle that's in our city that's actual Pats fan....our Eagle is a Patriots fan.  It was the Eagle room. Now it's the Belichick room," Walsh said.

The curtains were pulled back to reveal's Boston's eagle is now sporting a Patriot's hat and scarf.
