BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- You'd think being at the Super Bowl would be cool enough for a 13-year-old Pats fan from Scituate, but "cool" went a lot further than that Sunday night.

Ryan McKenna, 13, managed to snap a picture with halftime performer Justin Timberlake when the singer went up into the crowd.

"I got to be on TV with Justin Timberlake, and it's crazy, everyone's texting me and stuff!" he told ABC News. "My phone's just going like crazy."

McKenna also managed to snap a selfie, and it went viral, popping up on Twitter and leading to quite a response.

"Everyone in our row was telling me I was all over Twitter and stuff," he said. "It just, like, exploded."

But he told ABC News it almost didn't happen."At first I tried to get a selfie with him and my phone died," he said.

He said Timberlake didn't say anything while he took the photos--which may have been for the best, because, Ryan says, he was speechless.
