BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- The NBA trade deadline is Thursday at 3 p.m., and there might be significant movement across the league but, when the dust settles, Celtics will visit the Wizards tonight for a prime-time game at 8 p.m.--possibly with Greg Monroe in the line-up for his C's debut.

Kyrie Irving returned from a 3-game absence for Tuesday's 20-point loss in Toronto. He admitted there was some rust, but still scored 17 points in 22 minutes. Now he's eager to turn the page.

"It's on to the next one, that's the attitude you have to have," he said. "But you obviously want to learn as much as you can from games like this, keep it in the back of your mind. I know I will, and I hope a few of our guys will as well."

Brad Stevens' guys got their butts kicked. The coach said as much.

Still, Celts have won 4 of 5 and hold a one-game lead in the East. Wizards - 5 of 6, but they're missing injured All-Star John Wall another month or longer after left knee surgery.

C's lost their previous meeting with the Wiz 111-103 Christmas Day.
