School Bus Driver Fired After Arrested For OUI

TYNGSBOROUGH, MA (WBZ-AM) -- A school bus driver was arrested for operating a bus under the influence after being found drunk.

On Feb 5 Police were called to the Brickhouse Pizza Shop on Middlesex Road for a report of a school bus that was haphazardly parked in the lot with the driver appearing intoxicated. 

When they arrived they located Cloutier on-board the bus sitting eating food. No one else was in the bus at the time.

According to Police, Cloutier had been scheduled to scheduled to pick up students at the Innovation Charter Academy in Tyngsborough at 3:25 PM but never showed up. 

The bus is owned by Christianson Bus Company, which only serves two private schools in town and does not work with the Tyngsborough Public Schools.

She was later fired by the bus company and was arraigned in Lowell District Court on Tuesday. It was unclear if she had legal counsel.

Tyngsborough Police Rich D. Howe Police tell WBZ NewsRadio1030's Karyn Regal that they do not believe that any school children were transported by Cloutier while she was allegedly drunk.
