WORCESTER (WBZ-AM) -- The secret is out--a BYOP (bring-your-own-pot) smoking lounge has moved in on Water Street.

At Summit Lounge, members will pay a $50 monthly fee to smoke marijuana in a private setting.

The lounge opened for business Friday.

"We pride ourselves on being an upscale, so to speak, classy environment," owner Kyle Moon told WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Bernice Corpuz.

The lounge, which moved into the space formerly occupied by the old Secret Society tattoo parlor, is not like a restaurant  where customers can order from a menu of food or alcohol.

"We don't provide any cannabis," Moon said. "We don't provide any tinctures, any extracts, any edibles."

Moon says it offers a social setting for members with a relaxed atmosphere.
