BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- The Beanpot Tournament final between Boston University and Northeastern University takes place Monday night at TD Garden.
The 11th-ranked Huskies dispatched the Boston College Eagles 3-nothing in the semis behind freshman Cayden Primeau's 37 saves.
Now NU's eyeing its fifth crown, which would be the first in 30 years for the 17-time finalists.
But the Terriers are Beanpot titans with 30 all-time tournament titles--the last just 3 years ago when current Bruins defenseman Matt Grzelcyk scored the overtime winner to earn MVP honors.
BU needed two overtimes to send Harvard to the consolation game, and the school's in this game for the fourth straight year.
Puck drops tonight at the Garden at 7:30.
