FRAMINGHAM, MA (WBZ-AM) -- A multi-vehicle crash involving a Mass State Police Cruiser has closed eastbound all lanes on The Mass Pike I-90.
The accident occurred shortly after 11 a.m. at Exit 12 in Framingham.
Trooper Dustin Fitch with Mass State Police said that "Trooper involved reported to have injuries, not serious, however there are other injuries, including one with serious injuries at this scene"
WBZ NewsRadio Traffic Reporter Jim Ryan reports that the crash is causing major backups in the Route 9 stretch and that the Pike's westbound left lane is closed for emergency vehicles.
A Medflight helicopter has been dispatched to the scene.
