Boston Murder Suspect Arrested In Walpole After Standoff

WALPOLE (WBZ-AM) -- A Boston murder suspect has been arrested in Walpole after a standoff that lasted several hours.

Kyle Williams, 32, was wanted in the murder of 21-year-old Shaquille Browder, who was shot in a Burger King parking lot in Dorchester last month.

The Boston Police fugitive unit had been keeping an eye out for Williams, and contacted Walpole Police, who tracked him to an apartment complex in that town.

Williams barricaded himself inside after SWAT teams arrived Tuesday night, but surrendered early Wednesday morning.

Nobody was hurt during the standoff.
