LYNN (WBZ-AM) -- At a hearing for a youth hockey coach accused of child rape Wednesday, it was revealed that seven other boys also claim the coach assaulted them.
Marblehead Hockey coach Christopher Prew was indicted on one count of rape of a child last week, but the other alleged instances of abuse surfaced at the dangerousness hearing in Lynn District Court.
Police Officer Teresa Gay testified they interviewed one boy who was often alone with Prew.
"We spoke with the child, he disclosed that he had been alone with Prew," she said. "He had also had one-on-one sessions with Prew for hockey. On multiple occasions at Prew's condo, Prew had touched the child."
Prosecutors say the victims range in age from six to eleven.
The judge ordered Prew held without bail.
