BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Patrice Bergeron and the Bruins have been unstoppable for basically 3 months.
Boston sat below .500 at 6-7-and-4 in mid-November but, since - 29-5-and-4 after last night's 5-2 win over Calgary.
Bergeron scored twice. The MVP candidate has a team-high 27 goals.
Charlie McAvoy said the B's have the most success when they play a simple brand of hockey.
"We can wear teams down," he said. "We've had a lot of games in this streak where we've been playing real well where it's a tight game, and then it gets to the last maybe ten, five minutes, and we'll put a couple on the board just because we're playing the right way and we're working hard and we're wearing these teams down."
Bruins sit a point behind the Lightning for first in the NHL. They'll visit the Canucks Saturday.
