BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Mookie Betts was an All-Star for the Red Sox last year, and even finished sixth in the American League MVP voting despite a year he was far inferior to his MVP runner-up campaign in 2016.
Behind the scenes, Betts said it was a trying year in the clubhouse--even as Boston won 93 games to claim a second straight division title.
Xander Bogaerts, however, said he didn't want to get into details, and that and the quicker everyone moves on, the better.
The Sox first exhibition game is Thursday. The season's about six weeks away.
