More Than A Dozen Cars Broken Into In Milton

MILTON (WBZ-AM) -- Police are investigating after several cars were broken into Saturday night.

Sixteen cars were broken into on a number of streets across town, spanning a couple of miles--with windows smashed to get inside.

In some cases, items were stolen--but in more than half, nothing was taken at all.

Milton Police told WBZ-TV there is no surveillance video, but said they do have a pretty good lead.

Residents are concerned, and said the activity was not normal for the area.

"It frightens me, but again, it's never happened to me, nor any of my friends, to be honest," said one man. "I wouldn't like that."

Police are asking residents to keep an eye out for suspicious activity and report anything unusual.
