HYANNIS, MA (24/7 News Source) -- A Hyannis woman is dealing with serious burn injuries after a weekend fire.
Hyannis Fire Department officials say the 31-year-old was taken to Cape Cod Hospital and then transferred to a Boston hospital after the blaze at a home on Spring Street at around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
The fire spread to the exterior of a second home on Ridgewood Avenue before firefighters were able to contain it.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
