Police: High School Student Arrested For Making Threats Via Snapchat

TEWKSBURY, MA (WBZ-AM) --   A Tewksbury teen is under arrest charged with threatening to shoot up his school on snapchat.

The 15 year old boy's mother is the one who called police. 

They say she saw the video showing her son holding what looked like an assault rifle threatening to carry out a school shooting.

The teen attends the Shawsheen Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School in Billerica.

There was an increased police presence at the school Tuesday.
