SOMMERVILLE, MA (24/7 News Source) -- Somerville students are making a statement for more gun control. About 200 high school students walked out this morning at around the same time on the clock that students and staff were murdered in Parkland, Florida.
Students gathered outside for a 17-moment of silence in crouch positions in the same way they've been instructed to do when a lockdown is ordered.
Some students carried signs with messages including "Protect Children Not Guns," and "America Demands Gun Reform."
