“We’re talking about a multi-day event with strong winds, high seas and a threat of coastal flooding,” said Kevin Morely, with Barnstable County Regional Emergency Planning Committee.

Morley, who is the public information officer for the Barnstable County Regional Emergency Planning Committee and he says residents should prepared to be on their own for at least 72 hours.

Though he hopes not a lot of folks lose power. if they do?  What will they need ?

“Batteries, portable radios....and just be safe the winds are predicted to be hurricane force winds it’s not something to mess with,” Morley said.
