Boston Students Walk Out, Hope For Change

BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- Bad weather and school closures did not stop some students in the Boston area from joining the nationwide march against gun violence.

students from several school districts including Boston, Cambridge, Brookline and Somerville headed to Boston common Wednesday and then marched to the statehouse. some schools announced postponing activities until tomorrow and Friday.

these students are fed up. they’re chanting not one more. they don’t want anymore school shootings. they’re demanding change from beacon hill to capitol hill.

freshman Saahil Raina from Cambridge was holding a poster with that message to lawmakers.
