ABC11 anchor Mark Armstrong loves his hometown hockey team, to the point that he’s a bit biased. In fact, if you caught the North Carolina sportscaster’s recap of Tuesday night’s Hurricanes versus Bruins game, you may have been a little confused as to which team skated away with the win.
Armstrong spent just 5 seconds of his minute-long broadcast on the Bruins’ remarkable 5-goal, game-winning streak in the third period. Instead, he chose to document the Hurricane’s 4-1 surge that preceded the comeback.
It was all in good fun, though, as Armstrong later posted a video of the recap to Twitter with the caption “My Canes-Bruins Super HomerCast.”
