BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- Suffolk County Assistant District Attorney, Greg Henning – has announced his intention to run to succeed retiring District Attorney Dan Conley.
Henning tells WBZ Newsradio1030 that he's got some changes in mind.
“I think anybody who has been a part of an organization for a long time can identify where they want to improve it. So there’s definitely changes I’d like to want to make and I’ve talked to members of the community and voters about these sorts of changes and I look forward to talking about my vision what we would bring to the district attorney’s office,” he said.
Conley announced earlier this year that he's retiring to pursue another line of work, possibly as a private attorney.
Henning is no stranger to politics: his late father John Henning, was the longtime political reporter for WBZ-TV and political commentator on WBZ NewsRadio1030.
