BOSTON, MA (24/7 News Source) -- Attorney General Maura Healey is launching an investigation into Facebook and a data firm used by the Trump presidential campaign.
It's in response to a "New York Times" story that the British data firm Cambridge Analytica improperly harvested information from 50-million Facebook users.
Investigators want to find out if Massachusetts residents were affected and if the breach violated Facebook policies.
In a weekend tweet, Healey says Massachusetts residents deserve answers immediately from Facebook and Cambridge Analytica.
