BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- A Boston man is under arrest-- after reportedly robbing an unconscious man who lay dying on a T platform Wednesday morning.
Transit Police say Anthony Stimson robbed a man having a medical emergency on a Downtown Crossing "T" Platform -- and left him to die. The victim, a 52-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say-- before they arrived, Stimson spent half an hour rummaging through the victim's belongings -- and then left him to die without calling for assistance.
When police tracked down Stimson, blocks away they found the deceased man's prescription pill bottle on him for seizures.
Stimson is being held without bail following arraignment on charges of larceny and possession of a class E drug.
