Arrest Made In SBLII Week Burglary Of Gronk’s House

FOXBOROUGH, MA (WBZ-AM) – One suspect has been arrested and two more wanted in the residential burglary at the home of Rob Gronkowski that occurred on February 5, while the tight end was away at Super Bowl 52.

Anthony Almeida, 31, of Randolph was arrested Friday morning for breaking & entering at nighttime, two counts of receiving stolen property and malicious destruction of property, according to Foxborough Police. Alameida was arraigned Friday afternoon at Wrentham District Court.

Police identified two more suspects, both still at large.

Shayne Denn, 26, of Tewksbury is wanted for breaking & entering at nighttime, three counts of larceny of a firearm, larceny over $250, malicious destruction of property and trespassing.

Eric Tyrell, 28, of Foxbough is being sought for two counts of receiving stolen property over $250.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Denn and/or Tyrell are encouraged to contact Foxborough Police, or the law enforcement agency in their area.

So far, an Apple Watch, Rolex watch and two rare coins from the 1800s have been recovered over the course of the investigation.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
