Brewster Teacher Faces Rape Charges

ORLEANS, MA (WBZ-AM ) -- A teacher at a Cape Cod elementary school is being charged with child rape.

Noah Campbell-Halley,36 of Harwich taught at Stony Brook Elementary School in Brewster before being placed on administrative leave by Nauset Regional Schools.

The Brewster Police Department says it received information on Sunday from concerned parents about inappropriate sexual contact between their child and Campbell-Halley during school hours and they also learned of two potential victims before making an arrest. But say they could be more victims.

According to prosecutors investigators say Campbell-Halley would pull kids out of class and take them to what the alleged victims came to call it “The Dark Room,” a closet for computer servers.

Police and school psychologists were on hand at a Brewster elementary school this week to speak with parents and students advise them how to discuss these horrifying revelations.

Campbell-Halley was arraigned in Orleans District Court on Thursday and ordered held on $25,000 bail and could faces life in prison if convicted.
