BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) --  Bruins are 2-0-and-1 to start their road trip. That wraps up Tuesday in Winnipeg, Canada.

They edged the  Minnesota Wild 2-1 in overtime Sunday night behind Brad Marchand's 33rd goal and NHL eading fifth in overtime.

St. Louis, Dallas, and Minnesota are a combined 72-33-and-11 at home this year, so this has been another impressive stretch for Boston.

The Bruins re still shorthanded. David Backes, Rick Nash, Zdeno Chara, and Charlie McAvoy were among those still out with injuries, but Patrice Bergeron and Torey Krug returned, and Marchand was thrilled to have his linemate Bergeron back for the first time in a month.

Bergeron assisted on both goals.

Bruins trail the Lightning by two points for the East-lead, with another meeting Thursday.
