LYNN, MA (WBZ-AM) -- A woman is dead and her husband is charged with murder.
Police were notified and responded to an apartment 8 Chase Street around 4:45am to a woman suffering from severe blunt trauma.
This is the same address where last year a man was beaten and sodomized and later died.
The victim in the Lynn homicide is identified as Luz Acevedo Gomez, 47 was charged with murder is Miguel A.Castillo, 55, believed to be her husband.
Authorities believe Miguel Castillo used a baseball bat to kill his wife Luz Acevedo, in Lynn. Police found her body in the couple's apartment early this morning. According to police, Castillo said, "Just arrest me."
He was arraigned in Lynn District Court Monday morning and was held without bail
