BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- If you have ridden the "T" in Boston, then you have heard his voice.
Frank Oglesby Jr , has been a familiar voice of the MBTA is back providing provides various announcements through it's train and bus system.
Although Oglesby retired from the MBTA in 2016, as Deputy Director of Paratransit Contract Operations, he's back albeit briefly stepping into the audio booth as independent contractor.
The T needed somebody to be a voice for the new Silver Line route which debuts in April.
Commuters on the route will hear Oglesby's baritone voice announcing all the stops and delays.
"It feels great I like to perform and provide this service for people, particularly those who might have challenges so that they know where they are and they know where they are headed.," he said.
