BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- Governor Baker is calling for patience as the registry of motor vehicles adapts to a new computer program.
The Governor says expects long wait times and other glitches to be ironed out over the next few weeks.
He likens the switch to the new computer program to an organ transplant in which 50 million records had to switched over to a new system.
Which is not to say he doesn't understand the frustration.
Baker encourages residents with business before the RMV to do it online as much as possible as problems are resolved.
