Silver Line Tunnel Closes After Falling Concrete

BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- The MBTA has closed the Silver Line Tunnel from South Station to Silver Line Way and replaced it with buses Wednesday.

This after construction on Congress Street caused pieces of concrete to fall on to the the inbound platform at the World Station Station. There were no reports of injuries.

Buses will continue to make regular stops through city streets. until further notice.
