WILMINGTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- State Representative Jim Miceli has passed away at the age of 83.
He's represented Wilmington in the State House since 1977.
According to eye-witness reports, Miceli collapsed shortly after 11 this morning while attending the Wilmington Little League opening day ceremony at Rotary Park.
He was immediately attended to by first responders, who gave him CPR for approximately 10-15 minutes.
He was in full cardiac arrest, unconscious and not breathing.
He was pronounced dead at Winchester Hospital.
