FRAMINGHAM, MA (WBZ-AM) -- A black lab mix is under quarantine in Framingham today after attacking and killing a shitzu at Callahan state park on Sunday.
The attack happened in a section of the park where dogs are allowed off-leash. this woman says she stays away from that section.
Both dogs in Sunday's incident were off-leash. Animal control is looking into whether there have been previous complaints about the attacking dog while some dog owners call for reconsideration of leash rules at the park.
The owner of the lab is being cited and fined for not having the dog licensed.
