QUINCY, MA (WBZ-AM) -- A woman from Boston's South End is held without bail for allegedly running down her former girlfriend in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Randolph.

Police were called to the Avalon Blue Hills Apartment complex off Canton St. shortly after 11:30 PM Sunday night.

Prosecutors say that Jessica Bruno, 32, had gone to the victim's apartment and pushed her inside when she opened the door and then the altercation spilled onto the parking lot.

Bruno, who was arraigned in Quincy District Court on Monday is accused of Assault and & Battery and other counts.

"Officers had an opportunity to speak with a witness on scene and who told them that Ms. Bruno had purposely driver over the victim.  She stated that the victim was standing in front Ms. Bruno's vehicle with the hands on the hood and that Bruno drove over her," Prosecutor Christine Bilingsley said during the arraignment.

Bruno's Lawyer said the victim that was struck was an accident and that Bruno called police and stayed on the scene until they arrived.

She is currently being held without bail until a dangerousness hearing Wednesday.
